Hey there, Connectors! Welcome to the weekend!
This week, I decided to to make some changes to my diet. I’m going to finish the (kind of expensive) overnight muesli packs I have remaining, then stick to eggs and/or oatmeal for breakfast, with a protein-heavy bowl of cereal on occasion.
I ordered a lot of fruit and some baby carrots and walnuts to snack on during the day and some protein powder for a lunchtime shake. Then I’ll have a pre-prepared meal for dinner.
I’m really, really going to try to avoid junk as much as possible. I struggle to control myself around certain types of food. Especially bread. I love bread so much.
I need to get into better shape, and making significant alterations to my diet so it’s healthier is an important step forward. I just hope I can stick to it. 😬

As someone who was born in the 1980s, of course my brain is going to go toward Inspector GADGET when I see the word GADGET. Spotting the rest of the blues was a cinch.
The yellows were next up. No real problem there, but NIGHTMARE did give me pause.
I was left with a curious selection of words at that point. I figured DUOLINGO had to have some wordplay going on. So I broke that down into smaller parts and realized that "duo" aligned with the "bi" of BINARY and "di" of DIOXIDE. TWILIGHT had to be the missing link. That meant I had the greens.
Since I was down to the purples, I again took a look at the components of each word. LICHEN and MOSCOW helped me figure out the category. These refer to nanny, hen, cow and mare.
Tricky one today. Nevertheless, my streak is now up to 378 consecutive wins
