Hey there, Connectors! I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend so far.

So, how did you fare with the little challenge I set last Sunday? I asked y’all to go find out more about a topic you’ve been curious about but haven’t taken the time to read up on. The idea was that we’d reconvene today and chat about what we’ve learned and what made us interested in the topic in the first place.

I’m excusing myself from this exercise because I do this pretty often in the Connections intros 🙂 But if enough of you get involved, I’m hoping we can make this a regular thing. Maybe once a month or so?

I zipped through today's game in no time. The wine accessories jumped out at me first, then I took care of the yellows.

The purples were up next. I wasn't entirely sure how ALIAS fit in, but it was the only other thing that made sense.

I do not know TRIX at all, but ENERGIZER and PLAYBOY were enough for me to figure out the blue category.

P.S. You may recall a couple of weeks ago that there was a song I wanted to recommend but could not recall the artist or title. Well, friends, I fuckin’ found it.

I saw a cool video on Reddit of a guy who flies to work using a paramotor and the song was playing in the background. I worked my internet magic and found out that it’s “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root. It’s catchy and a little trippy. It’s maybe not quite as laidback for a Sunday tune, but it’s full of joy. I like it a lot:
