Hey there, Connectors! I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend so far.

I recently learned about a project that Callum McCadden, a fellow Scot, is carrying out dans ma ville. McCadden is spending six months trying to become “the most useful man in Montreal” by volunteering and helping out folks who need a hand. In addition, McCadden is raising funds for a local charity that subsidizes therapy for young men in the city, which is a brilliant cause that I’ll be donating to when I can.

I’ve watched a few of McCadden’s videos and enjoyed them. I’m far too introverted to ever attempt such a project myself, but it’s been really lovely to see someone from my homeland attempt to foster community in my current neck of the woods.

In one fundraiser vlog, McCadden documented a challenge to cycle around the entire island of Montreal (a 135KM trip) on Bixis. These bikes are used in the city’s ridesharing service and they’ve very clunky and heavy. A trip around the island on a regular bike seems difficult enough. Doing that on Bixis is a heck of an endeavor:

I figured the kinds of teeth were more likely to be a group than the pupper references, and that turned out to be the case for the yellows. The greens were up next thanks to UNREQUITED and PUPPY.

I didn't really know where to go from there, and honestly was a little distracted, so I made a random guess and ended up with the purples, somehow. I am not making that up. Those refer to soggy, saturated, drenched and dripping. I didn't see it at all.

I should have figured out the blues before that, but that category clicked for me when they became the remaining words. Win 609 in a row in the books for me.
